There is a common misconception that migraine is not a real condition, but is nothing more than a bad headache. Many sufferers feel their condition is not understood and that other people offer little sympathy - which explains why some won’t even say they have a migraine when they call in sick to work!
But we do understand. Migraine is a clinically recognised and often very painful condition. Up to 15% of adults in the UK suffer from migraine and it impacts hugely on many aspects of their lives.
